As the ERA Protect alarm system is wireless, it is fully expandable at any time and can be tailored to suit most properties. Which means you can start with the base kit and then add additional accessories as your budget allows or as your home or family expands.

In total you can add up to 96 additional accessories to any ERA Protect alarm hub. With a range of pet friendly PIR motion sensors, door/ window sensors, remote controls, touch RFID compatible keypads, sirens and replica sirens; plus, indoor, outdoor and outdoor floodlight cameras – the fully integrated system is suitable for any size home or budget.

The additional pet friendly motion sensor secures rooms, hallways and entrance areas by picking up heat and movement when the alarm is activated. Suitable for use with pets up to 25 kgs, ideal if you wish to arm your alarm while leaving pets at home. Wireless two-way communication to the hub, sends an alert if any movement or heat is detected within the armed zone.

The sensor detects motion up to 12m away with a detection zone of 90 degrees. We recommend fixing the PIR at a height of 2.3m from the ground with a clear field of view. You can fix the sensor to the wall with either the adhesive mounting tape or screws (provided). The built-in tamper protection will also notify you of anyone trying to remove the sensor too.

Features:
All alarm accessories pair to the hub with the touch of a button via the IOS or Android App. To add a device, press the Add button in the app and select Add Device, then follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.

The PIR Motion Sensor allows your pets up to 25kg to roam freely around your property without triggering the ERA Protect Alarm System. When the PIR Motion Sensor is triggered, the ERA Protect Alarm System will send a notification to your compatible smartphone. To ensure you do not receive multiple notifications for the same event the sensor will stop detecting motion for the next 5 minutes. During this period the LED indication light will not flash. This is a battery saving initiative to preserve the life of the battery within the sensor. When you need to change the battery, release the catch from the top, leaving the back plate fixed to the surface.
