Intumescent Fire & smoke Rated Telescopic Letterbox

This letterbox is a robust commercial metal framed design with metal flaps and a high performance intumescent liner. In the event of a fire the intumescent liner expands to seal the letterbox aperture and retains the integrity of the fire door. This product is available with with 30 minute or 60 minute fire and smoke rates, which has been security tested to PAS 23/24.

This product is fitted with brush pile draught excluders and sound dampening bumpers with a fully sealed backplate. This is available in different finishes, please look at our options to choose your required finish.

This letterbox is mainly used for fire doors on multiple occupancy buildings and residential properties. The cut out that is required for this letterbox is 275mm x 55mm. The brushes are designed to go to the outside for maximum protection and draught proofing.

The overall size of the product is 306mm x 70mm and comes as a 30/ 60 minute rated intumescent telescopic letterbox system with matching metal frame and metal letter plate flaps are available in 3 different finishes.

An adjustable telescopic sleeve can be set from 40mm to 80mm door thickness. The letterbox flaps open to a 115 degree angle and suits 30 or 60 minute fire doors.
