Intumescent Seals

Intumescent fire and smoke seals for the door assemblies. An intumescent graphite based fireseal contained within a PVC sleeve for fitting into a rebate to either the leaves or the frame of a door. In the event of a fire the seal will expand to many times its original volume and seal around the door, to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gases.
The intumescent fireseals are available with or without a cold smoke seal, which acts as a form of nylon pile. The smoke seals provide a permanent barrier to smoke, preventing the smoke fumes to travel as smoke travels further from the fire itself, eradicating further damage and health risks. They are also available with acoustic and thermal applications, which work with fire alarms or activate once the temperature has been reached to trigger the seal to work.
These fire and smoke seals are available in different colours to suit your door requirements. If you require the bottom of the door to be sealed, acoustic and smoke door bottom seals are available.
