ERA Protect Wireless Door/ Window Sensor

As the ERA Protect alarm system is wireless, it is fully expandable at any time and can be tailored to suit most properties. Which means you can start with the base kit and then add additional accessories as your budget allows or as your home or family expands. In total you can add up to 96 additional accessories to any ERA Protect alarm hub. With a range of pet friendly PIR motion sensors, door/ window sensors, remote controls, touch RFID compatible keypads, sirens and replica sirens; plus, indoor, outdoor and outdoor floodlight cameras – the fully integrated system is suitable for any size home or budget.

The door/ window sensor secures any potential access points in your property including doors, windows and cupboards. The sensor comes in two parts and uses magnets to determine and therefore trigger the alarm when a door/ window has been opened i.e. the link between the magnets is broken. With two-way communication, the LED indicator will alert you of a trigger.

The built-in tamper protection will notify you of anyone trying to remove the sensor too. We recommend placing the sensor on the fixed surface and the smaller magnetic contact on the moving surface. Position the sensor and magnetic contact as close to each other as possible. For optimum performance please ensure the gap is no more than 10mm (maximum supported gap is 20mm).

All alarm accessories pair to the hub with the touch of a button via the IOS or Android App. To add a device, press the Add button in the app and select Add Device, then follow the on-screen instructions to add your device. Ideal for your main entrance door or windows, you can attach the sensor with either the adhesive mounts or the screws provided. The clever design of the sensor means that the two parts do not necessarily have to be aligned horizontally and so can be fitted to angled door and window frames.
